Patty & Bun, London’s famous burger place has been the same since 2015 when I last visited. I remember to have liked the ambiance but not the food finding it unbalanced. After today’s visit, I can tell you that the improvements are clear.
The burger has less lettuce, a thicker bun, juicier and more red, richer flavors, good quality bacon, and richly flavorful sauce. I loved the bun, loaded with sugar and milk, it melts like a Pain Au Lait.
I enjoyed trying the vegan burger. A harder bun though but a load of veggies. Pickles for the crunch, mushrooms, vegan cheddar cheese. For a veggie lover, that sandwich is paradise.
