There’s just a day left until the clock strikes 12 and the new year starts, and with it comes a whole new set of blank pages just waiting to be filled with endless adventures... But before turning that page I take a deep breath, close my eyes and relive glimpses of year 2016... I see happy faces, cheerful smiles, delicious smells, new discovered cultures…amazing restaurants, new food innovations... I see myself being zapped from one place to another enjoying each one of this year’s successes.
NoGarlicNoOnions has grown beyond expectations… Under its umbrella came endless projects…
Souk el Akel, with a whole new logo, has taken part in over 15 villages this year with more than 500,000 people attending fun filled tasty street food markets; and that is not to mention more editions that have taken place in other countries like Egypt… We were in Downtown celebrating our weekly Souk El Akel editions; we beat all odds taking the beach all the way to Faraya... We camped out in the wilderness under Tannourine starry skies…
Not only that... Over 100 Meshwar episodes have been aired on MTV including special editions from Egypt, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan, while 1500 food boxes were distributed across Lebanon…Of course to keep things new and fresh we launched Souk el Mawasem this year.
This year has been blissful on so many fronts. As it comes to end, thanking each and everyone out there is inevitable. Thank you for believing in NoGarlicNoOnion’s mission to spread happiness and good vibes across the country and beyond. We thank our energetic, positive and optimistic team who have helped, all the members of Souk el Akel for believing in what we do, for always delivering the best and only the freshest to the people, our team, whom without we would not be here today.
We look forward to a whole New Year together… together we will fill the pages with nothing but fun, positivity, new discoveries and endless adventures.
