When the door says we open at 9! open at 9! Don’t leave your customers in the cold outside until 09:15 — stacks of paper, bags, a bar without a barista and empty displays. The first impression was not what I expected to say the least. I was coming here, excited to try the best products, bread and live a unique experience the internet talks about as being one of Paris’ best.

Order first or sit and wait for a waiter? After paying for the food three times in a row on two of my credit cards, I sat to enjoy the selection. The dry scone needs life, moisture, and taste. The carrot cake is too dry, lacks sweetness and juiciness. The financier is juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside with a cover of roasted sesame. The banana cake is as dry as the carrot cake, quality you buy of the shelve in supermarkets.

Probably their bread is great but didn’t have the chance to try it. Do they have sandwiches? Tartines? No idea because no one proposed. Dry bread bites are what they call breakfast?

A cafe with no internet: bizarre in 2019!

There’s nothing more to write about, I didn’t like anything except the American coffee and probably the decor. I might have come to the wrong place on this beautiful Tuesday morning.
