Shake Shack Custard is Not to be Tried!

During my visit to New York, I had a sudden craving for some sugar. I stopped by to try Shake Shack's frozen custard. And I wish I hadn't. It was way below my expectations. Bluntly: it was disgusting.

I was confused. I expected one thing and got another. I had the impression that it was going to be served like the McFlurry at McDonald's, until the cashier asked me how many scoops I needed. Toppings are for free, but there's no board or anything where the kind of toppings available can be seen.

Anyway, 5 minutes and $5 dollars later I received a cup, half full with melted ice cream, two flavors mixed together - chocolate and peanut butter - cookie dough and slices of bananas.

It was not good, not good at all. Melted cream with chunks of ice, calorific cookie dough and banana slices.

This is not something I would recommend you try!
