Prada Opens its First Flagship Eatery

High fashion retailers have added food experiences to their flagship stores for a long time and today more than ever, food plays a very important role in fashion and lifestyle and Prada has joined the trend with the first Pasticceria Marchesi flagship store to open its doors under Prada’s reign, on the luxury street Via Montenapoleone in the heart of Milan.

In March 2014, Italian luxury brand Prada became a majority shareholder of the historical pastry shop Pasticceria Marchesi. Prada worked with its go-to architect Roberto Baciocchi to create a slightly more modern identity for the shop front, which features custom-made fine china by Rosenthal and silver cutlery, resulting in a very luxurious experience; yet staying close to the original place as much as possible.

Plan your next trip to Milan to include the new Pasticceria Marchesi flagship that serves everything form breakfast and lunch to apéritifs, from 7.30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
