I can write about it for hours, long pages about the details this hotel has to offer. I spent three memorable nights, met the most professional staff, enjoyed amazing food and beyond. The hotel is called the JW Marriott, it's one of Dubai's biggest, the highest hotel in the world spread on 72 floors in two towers, hosting a selection of 14 restaurants and a staff that attends to the smallest of your demands and details.

This year, I tried three JW Marriott already. The famous Essex House Of New York, the beautiful busy hotel of Los Angeles and now the one in Dubai. Out of the three, this one left me impressed. It doesn't have an old authentic decor, it doesn't have an American staff to handle it but it has a unique attention to details few or no hotel I've been to before takes care of.

Arriving to the hotel, a receptionist takes care of you. It's how she asks the questions, the smile drawn on her face and then the rest of the staff. The person standing in front of the hotel, the ones serving you at breakfast, the ones you meet walking the corridors, the security, the concierge... everyone. Let's start from the end and back. Coming down for check-out because the card stopped working, I was asked how many hours I need the extension, smoothly and without making a point that only one hour can be added. A member of staff approached me and apologised how I waited for only 5 minutes. You are really pampered to the maximum.

During these three days, I spent 80% of my time at the hotel. Tried the Italian restaurant and loved it, the Kitchen 6 exceptional choices, the sixth floor large buffets, special functions buffets and the one-of-a-kind Farine French brasserie. Food is indeed excellent. During this week several conferences were taking place and hours hosted 800 persons. You'll never feel the rush and thousands of clientele walking around the hotel.

The room is as good as the rest of the hotel. Wide, clean, newly refurbished, connected and equipped with a large bathroom. The room is technologically equipped with an automation system, a fast internet connection, a working desk, two chairs, two relaxing beds, a mini bar and a big bathroom equipped with a bath, a shower and a toilet.

Dining Choices:

  • Position: One of the 14 different food choices available at the hotel, Positano was our choice for the night. An italian restaurant proposes a selection of Italian dishes spread on several live cooking sections. Fresh and enjoyable Italian vibes, an Italian chef and some Italian guests here and there, the restaurant is a guaranteed satisfaction.
  • Kitchen 6: I'm even more impressed, a restaurant at a time, the beautiful breakfast, the superb cafe, the exquisite dinner and now comes lunch. 6 kitchens, endless choices, cuisines from all around the world, from shawarma to Indian, fruits and vegetables, spices and lively cooked dishes, they even have a dedicated sushi section. I believe photos speak for themselves cause writing the choices would have taken me a whole day.
  • La Farine: Grandiose like all the other restaurants around the hotel, La Farine is spread on different sections and many open kitchens. An English style with a French touch, wood and black metal with chesterfield sofas and light green fabrics in a space enchanted with French tunes. A high ceiling, a cafe trottoir kind of restaurant, a cozy saloon and an open bakery preparing a bread at a time.
  • Breakfast: A thousand and probably more, breakfast at the JW Marriott Marquis hotel Dubai is something I'll be remembering for long. A huge restaurant, six live cooking stations, fresh vibrant vibes, a professional staff and close to a hundred tables. Impressive is the least that can be said.

An amazing hotel! A superb experience... A stay I'll be remembering for long!
