Lebanese wine gaining a lot of success this year. With the introduction of Lebanese wines in retail giants Mark & Spencers and now Wines of Lebanon returning to London International Wine Fair (LIWF)- Lebanon is now the talk of the world. The generic Lebanese stand at the LIWF has attracted new wineries this year, keen to gain a foothold in the UK market. Lebanese wines are gaining ground in the UK with exports up by 26% from 2010 to 2011 (source: Lebanese Government Customs Figures). Nine wineries will be represented at this year’s show:
