Tonight I’m having “Moules Frites” at DT! Every Wednesday, visit DT, the neighborhood restaurant of Kaslik which has been open since 1986. I love it here and have been visiting for as long as I remember; first with my parents and then with my wife. I come here for the sushi, dumplings and Chicken liver among others but most importantly for the friendly staff who has been serving us for years.
Delicious Moules et Frites, a big bowl of it cooked and marinated in their white cream. Grab one mussel and let it guide you to open the others, and enjoy their filling. With fries on the side, I enjoyed digging into my plate white nibbling from my wife’s sushi plate.
I like it here: the draft beer, the sushi rolls that have finally taken the proper size and taste, the gentle and professional waiters and the vibe. The restaurant of our childhood is still doing right, and I love how it makes you enjoy your gatherings with no sophistication.
Still as is, DT is a “Bistro de Quartier,” the Lebanese way, where you meet the same clientele who comes here for a guaranteed experience.
