I bet you're be asking yourselves, "what took him to this place?" after reading the title...Well, I remember the hype behind Pizza Hut years ago, before the country became saturated with restaurants and new concepts. I used to look forward going there with a bunch of my friends, especially on the weekend. The fad slowed down... for one reason or another, but it's definitely not because the quality of food has lessened. On the contrary... I like their pizza... I may not be fond of the place itself, but their pizza is something to consider...

Sometimes you just crave the typical American style pizza. Pizza Hut, Domino's or Papa John's are just few remaining places that offer them. Accompanied by three of my friends, I decided to pay Pizza Hut a visit. I went to the branch in the area where I live, Mazraat Yachouh, which has been here for decades. This restaurant was the first to open in the area that has become a busy business hub today.
Is Pizza Hut still good? The answer is yes.
Unfortunately, the restaurant feels like a haunted place but eating a Pizza in-house is much better than having it delivered home. Today's experience was really good and felt close to the ones I have had in the US.
The place described:
- Dimmed and dark, the place feels like a haunted house
- Dark tiles cover the floor
- Dark wooden chairs with dark blue leather cushions are supposed to decorate the place
- Colorful but dull tables have different squares on (light red, purple, green)
- Glass separators between tables give more privacy to the groups
- A light music plays in the background
- Columns are covered in wood and walls are painted in yellow and pink
- A long bench on the right side of the restaurant follows the wall
- Glass facades offer a view on the main road
- An open kitchen that's supposed to be fresh looks dark and scary
- Blue and white ceiling
- A dimmed and disturbing ambiance
Before going in to the tasting adventure, let me assure you that all pizzas served at Pizza Hut are rich and generously filled with premium ingredients. Before deciding to write this review, I ordered pizza from them over five times lately, and every time it was good and tasty.Let us try the different Pizza Hut crusts:
- Thin'n' Crispy: The original crust baked to a thin, crispy crunch since 1958
- Pan: Pan baked to golden perfection. Soft on the inside, crispy on the out, incredibly delicious
- Stuffed crust: A ring of soft melted cheese is baked into the crust of this delicious pizza base
- Traditional (Italian crust): Traditional style pizza crust hand stretched to create the perfect, not too thick and not too thin crust

The plus: All pizzas are served on plastic serving plates filled with balls making the pizza float in the air keeping it fresh.
I didn't enjoy the place at all even though the waitress was smiling and welcoming but I loved the pizzas. I really missed eating something that fresh, that hot and that generous. If you forgot about Pizza Hut, you might want to consider it again.
