City Centre Beirut Through My Eyes

Back in April of 2013, I was the first to take pictures of City Centre Beirut revealing "what’s behind the C” if you remember what the campaign was all about. The opening of the new City Centre Beirut in Hazmieh welcomed visitors to come discover a new mall which hosts more than 200 shops and restaurants all in one location. The food court was not ready and many shops were still closed back then, this is why I decided to pay them another visit.

Beirut City Centre, the 60,000 sqm venue, is the first project for MAF Properties in the Levant region that delivers a new retail and entertainment concept to the country featuring many “firsts”.  Over 40 of the 200 stores in the mall are new brands – never seen before in Lebanon: such as; Carrefour, Vox Cinemas, Magic Planet, and 40 food and beverage outlets including 3 flagship brands from North America.

The things I love: This four-story mall is wide and well lit, walking around its alleys makes you feel relaxed It is easy to discover as it's built on one single line. The marble flooring used adds a reflective effect of class and luxury that you feel the first minute you walk in. The shops opened are all premium of which 25% are new to the country. More than 40 different restaurants and cafes won't leave you indifferent Choose to stay outside on the terrace to enjoy Lebanon's beautiful weather. Opt for the food court filled with the world's latest fast food trends. I loved the idea of this huge food court and its middle seating island beautifully setup with light green chairs. All around the 60,000 sqm huge mall, many coffee shops are planted here and there to satisfy all tastes.
