Like the 2F we have been used to for the last couple of years, the 2C Business Lounge of The Charles De Gaulle Airport is the same but smaller giving it the feeling of more intimacy. Although, the 2C Terminal is much better than the very old 2F; the welcoming, colors, shopping area are all redesigned and up to a minimal new trend travelers expect. I like how the "Acces N#1" is taken seriously with special entrances, special hostesses and the premium service.
The lounge is next to gate 85 is on the lower floor. A smiling hostess welcomes you. On the counter there, you can find Valrona dark chocolate and wet refreshing napkins. The lounge is simple, not compared to the Heathrow Skyteam area but maybe enough for those who have a few minutes between a flight and another to destinations chosen for this terminal. I like it more than the Fiumicino Airport Alitalia Lounge for sure.
Brown, grey, camel and black leather individual seats are placed around the middle self service buffet where a choice of snacks, drinks and sandwiches is offered.
- Little soft drink cans a few airports and planes still offer nowadays - A large tea choice from Fauchon - La Mere Poulard biscuits - French wines and champagnes - Little bread snacks and small sandwiches for different tastes - A coffee machine - Country farm corn flakes - Grissotti Italian biscuits by Fratelli Laurieri - French biscuits from Filet Bleu - Potato chips And little other things I usually don't look at still grabbed my attention while there.
