Lebanese owned, with the first restaurant in London, Aubaine has a premium location at the entrance of The Dubai Mall. Aubaine offers a French selection of gourmet creations all produced in-house. From cakes to breakfast, passing by lunch and dinner, at Aubaine, you are promised perfection. Enjoying my morning treat with a view, I stopped for a selection of eggs, pancakes, and smoothies before continuing my tour around the Dubai Mall.
Breakfast is served as of 10 am. Pancakes, waffles, bakery, fruits and grains, cheese and eggs. Organized in a French way, the menu choices make you want or order everything. “I like the grains and fruits part.” Choose to sit on the terrace where smoking is allowed, in the main dining space or by the mall corridor.
Food is excellent! French, upscale and a touch of finesse found everywhere. Great looking plates loaded with rich flavors and interesting textures. I loved the avocado toast, the French toast, the stack of three pancakes and the Açaí bowl. Let’s go into details!
The first thing I eat when traveling to New York is the Açaí bowl, and Aubaine’s is as good as the ones over there. A rich açaí bowl, smooth without any crunching bits of ice, a bed of bananas, crunchy granola and red fruits. Bravo, bravo, bravo...
Avocado toast, ripe avocados on a thick toast with a side of two poached eggs with a flooring yellow heart. French toast and a caramélisés banana cut in half. Three thick pancakes feeling and looking like a cake but good enough to be ordered and enjoyed.
I was pleasantly surprised by the service, and food quality: I loved the presentation of plates, the food, and taste of every plate. Two thumbs up guys. I will recommend this place to all my friends.
