The Sage Tea Maker: Michelin-starred Chef Designs Tea Maker

Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal, presents the world with the Sage Tea Maker. All a tea-drinker needs to do is fill the Tea Maker’s basket with tea leaves and set his/her preference. Tell the machine the type tea you are using and select your preferred strength. The Sage Tea Maker will do the rest.

Different teas need to be brewed at different temperatures, and we all have a favorite strength, and this Tea Maker knows just how hot and how long to brew. Clever, eh? It gets even more impressive – fill the stainless steel basket with leaves, tell it the type of tea, select the strength and it’ll heat the water, slowly lower the basket, then raise the basket from the water when it’s done.

You can use it as a ‘normal’ kettle, set the temperature to brew coffee and even set a timer to make your morning brew.

The Sage Tea Maker is available at Lakeland’s website for £200.
