While in San Francisco, I was walking by and came across this big place with an orange logo occupying the corner street. It was 3pm and the place was packed with people eating. I was intrigued to say the least and stopped to check out what this place has to offer. Super Duper Burgers is about two burgers, milkshakes, soft serve and soft drinks.
A bar, inside and outside seating, the restaurant opens for breakfast and lunch. I ordered the double cheeseburger combo and waited to be served.
The burger looks good, two patties, cheese, tomatoes and onions with a lettuce leaf. It’s a juicy burger with two toasted buns but the two burger beefs were too fatty. The burger has a high note of unpleasant saltiness. It looks good but it was way too fatty to finish, I had two bites and stopped.
The fries are good enough. Tender, well cooked. Commercial fries we all enjoy from time to time.
I enjoyed their homemade pickles and ketchup, which you can get from the bar, as well as their soft drinks machines where one can refill the glass cups. The drinks had a metal taste and the milk shake were too watery and too sweet.
This is what Super Duper is all about. Not my kind of burger place.
