Located on the lake in one of Italy’s famous touristic villages, Caruso offers a wide selection of Italian specialties with a view. On the terrace under the sun or inside, both experiences are just great! The view, the scenery, and enjoyable weather.
Pasta, pizza, and main dishes, the menu has it all. My mouth started watering while reading the menu: Tuna tataki, fried calamari, two pages of pizzas, spaghetti, fettuccini, tortellini, and gnocchi. I love it when Italian restaurants offer a choice of pasta.
Despite its thick crust and spongy feel, the pizza is tasty. I’ve never had a mortadella pizza before -added after cooking- and covered with a load of molten cheese and decorated with milky burrata mozzarella and drizzled with pistachio cream. An excellent combination I never thought about before — grilled octopus like a salad and a fresh salad made with crisp vegetables.
Delicious pasta! Flavors of the sea, cooked al denté, excellent quality of ingredients... I loved my plate and the ones of my family. I loved the sauces, the flavors, and the quality of pasta — four choices I enjoyed and loved.
We arrived at the restaurant by mistake and will surely recommend it to my friends visiting the village.
