Once again M de Noir is making the news.

When she decided to launch her “Saveurs du Liban” at the Salon du Chocolat in Paris in 2013, Maya Maalouf Kanaan did not expect the huge success that her chocolate would have with the French public and connoisseurs, a success crowned with an Award from the extremely select “Club des Croqueurs” at the Salon du Chocolat in Paris, a first in the Middle-East.

Today, “Saveurs du Liban” were picked by La Grande Epicerie de Paris, the most prestigious and renowned delicatessen store in the world. “It is always a great honor to put Lebanon's name forward and allow the French public to discover my beautiful country through my chocolate”, says Maya. In the coming weeks, 3 other French boutiques will be carrying M de Noir’s “Saveurs du Liban”. For now, the “Saveurs du Liban” box and bars carry 3 flavors: sesame and thyme that reminds of our famous “man’ouche”, local fresh mint and salted pistachios. More flavors will be added in the future.

France is only the beginning; Maya plans to have her chocolates in every country where there is a Lebanese diaspora longing for a taste of home, but also where locals are eager to discover new flavors and be transported to Lebanon with just a bite of chocolate.
