Recommended by many and considered to be one of the best Asian restaurants in the world, it was a necessity to try Din Tai Fung. Located in the second floor at Mall of the Emirates, it’s a unique experience for the eyes, ears, nose, and palate. The experience is exceptional from start to end, welcomed professionally, pampered and treated like a king. The waitress is one of the most professional I’ve ever met.
Din Tai Fung was founded in Taipei, Taiwan in 1958 as a cooking oil retail shop. In 1972, it transitioned into a full-fledged restaurant specializing in soup dumplings and noodles. The restaurant was soon winning rave reviews from all over the world. The tradition of Din Tai Fung continues today in its locations in the United States, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, and Thailand.
Excellent food that will make you scream and that said by someone who‘ or a big fan of this cuisine. I loved it, enjoyed every plate, adored every flavor, for excited by taking photos of everything while letting myself fly from joy.
The waitress smiles, explains, makes sure no plate contains garlic... she knows every plate by heart. Delivering the orders, she repeats them by heart helping with the sauces and ethics of eating.
Every dumpling is a story; every plate is a journey to Asia and back. I heard about the restaurant to be good but never expected it to as good as it was today. Located in a mall, you expect less than a perfect gourmet experience.
