This is where I finished my trip and this is where I'll be coming back for more. This is where food has a different meaning, this is where food is full of life and made with passion and dedication. This restaurant made me fall in love with Kuwait, a city with a rich history and lots of traditions.
Beit Dickson is the typical traditional restaurant taking the name of the last British ruler before Kuwait took their independence. A wide space decorated the old way is calm on a Friday at 5pm.
Metallic casseroles, old style seating, lanterns, and tables decorated and set professionally. Come here for the vibes and to blend with local traditions the real authentic way.
Eat "Kabsa" with your hands or at least try it like the locals do then dig in and enjoy the flavors. Rice the real way! Super tender rich meat, exceptional fish, spices added meticulously in a proper way, acidic and full bodied tomato sauce and a plate of okra cooked in its sauce.
A welcoming and smiley staff, delicious food I enjoyed so much and a calm restaurant with relaxing seating.
Recommended all the way. Delicious food, great hospitality and an introduction to the culture.
