Indeed this lounge is impressive. You know I've been dreaming of taking a look at Air France's Terminal M Lounge at Charles de Gaulle since it first opened, especially after hearing about its size and colors… My dream finally came true.
Flying all the way from New York with only five minutes to spare before the gate opens, I ran to discover the lounge. More than three thousand square meters of colors. As you enter, a map shows you the way. Eleven distinct spaces for more privacy and relaxation.

In the heart of the terminal a revolving door opens to a long corridor. Excitement arose in a dimmed lit space, just right before the large lounge opens up to your eyes. It was 8am when I arrived; the sun was rising over the horizon painting lines of blue and colors around the lounge. I moved to the right side with a plan to walk around it completely. All you have to do is check the photographs to understand how great this space is.
Built around Air France colors, blue, white and red are used everywhere. A space made famous by its islands looking like some oasis in the middle of the Savanna. High tables, sofas, working desks, lounges, individual chairs and beds - it has it all.
Food is available in two areas, the main buffet and the snacks display. The food here is way better than that available in lounges K and L. Eggs and cheese, sauteed carrots, sausages, pancakes, bacon, potatoes and tomatoes.... More so, a table of cheese, yogurt and crackers occupies the middle part of the lounge, while wines and drinks alongside some cookies and chips are on display all around the walls.
This lounge is warm spirited and exciting to discover. To date I can remember two lounges that left an impact on me: The Skyteam lounge at Heathrow and Lounge M in Paris.
