I really don't understand this place.  After trying it out myself  I still don't understand how people love this restaurant. I was in Jordan on a business trip and thought, why not try Whispers, since I read a few reviews about it.  The reviews seemed positive, but what I experienced was a whole different thing.

It was the biggest disappointment: 1- Smoking is an infest. Smoking is really unacceptable in such a small place with a low ceiling. People do not know anything about politeness or respect and everyone smokes as if they were sitting outdoors. Cigarettes smoke covers all potential good food smells and taste. 2- Staff is very unprofessional. They know nothing about the food industry. How to serve, how to take care of customers. 3- The restaurant is very dirty, we sat on a sticky table, and walked on a sticky floor to reach. 4- The menu is even dirtier, oily and sticky. And the plates are dirty as well. I don't know if they were even washed. Let's now be positive somehow:I  loved the huge aquarium in the middle of the restaurant, and the food is correct. Tasty for a local dinner in amman. The menu is divided into four large sections: Earth, air, fire, water. If you happen to be there... I would recommend trying their burger, their pizza or even their sweet&sour chicken, all are nice. Would I come back again? Maybe to sit in the non-smoking section in summer and open the window to avoid smelling any bad odors. A new website i discovered for reserving out in Jordan ReserveOut but doesn't have the Whispers restaurant listed.
