Equipped by a 10mb/sec internet connection, vast spaces, creative lighting, and managed by a professional team, I was amazed by the service, the receptionist know-how, and attention to detail. Let’s walk to the room: a medium-sized room has a big bathroom, a relaxing bed, a working desk, a strong air conditioning unit, and a load of amenities. I loved the internet! Powerful internet with a 10mb/sec download speed.
We were given two Communicating rooms for us and the kids where we felt like spending a week at home. I was amazed by the lobby’s changing colors according to the time of day and the private corners leading to the bar; it feels good to be here!
After a long and relaxing night's sleep, it was eating time! Discoveries around the hotel continue while walking to the breakfast room. Chinese jars, giant lanterns, a mix of different colors... the architect is an artist. Enjoy a dozen choice of bread, croissants, and pastries, watch your eggs in preparation, choose a handful of cheese choices, bake your own waffle, then sit, relax and sip your coffee in style.
Today, I had one of the best eggs, Benedict, ever! Two poached eggs on fluffy English muffins, toasted on the side, and covered with a robe of lemony sauce hollandaise. Balanced flavors, premium ingredients, excellent textures created on a beautiful plate worth a hundred pictures. Excellent! The next morning I offered liege waffles and flavorful crepes; yummy!
Every morning, requesting the car from the valet, with a smile on his face, he greets and runs for it. I was surprised to find water bottles for all the family.
Three nights at The Sofitel were memorable! My family and I loved the vibes, the luxury, the attention, professionalism, sleeping quality, showers water pressure, good food... everything that will make me come back again on my next trip.
