The Cheesecake Factory Cakes now in Lebanon

The Cheesecake Factory cakes are now sold at VOX Gold cinemas VIP Lounge. Yes you heard me, the long awaited Cheesecake Factory may be taking its ‘sweet’ time to open, but you can still indulge in their famous treats... Where?

Down at the Beirut City Centre, VOX cinemas offer a menu that includes a wide variety of bites, that you can order and enjoy while watching a movie. Today, something new has been added to the menu – popular cakes by The Cheesecake Factory. For LBP12, 000 each, you can now enjoy the cakes by the American franchise, which first started in Michigan and found its way around the world.

Let’s eat:

  • Dulce de Leche Cheesecake: Sweet! Too sweet, in fact. White in color, this creamy cheesecake is served on a crust of cake and topped with whipped cream. Nobody can deny that it’s good, despite the fact that it’s too sweet.

  • Crazy Red Velvet Cheesecake: What's so crazy about it? Described as creamy cheesecake swirled with chunks of home-style red velvet cake, topped with a rich cream cheese icing. It’s more spongy than creamy in my opinion - more of a cake than a cheesecake.

  • White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake: My favorite so far. Creamy cheesecake swirled with white chocolate and raspberry topped with whipped cream. I enjoyed the crunchy bits of white chocolate that add texture. This is a real American sweet sugary cheesecake.

I am honestly not a big fan of The Cheesecake Factory. I have tried them before during my visits to the United States and Dubai and found them to be too sweet and too fatty. In a nutshell, they are too American. But, if you're a fan - which I am sure many of you are - these are the originals and should be tried.

In the upcoming month, eleven flavors will be available.

Now that you know that The Cheesecake Factory has delayed its opening, -and surely not opening at The Beirut City Centre- you can still head down to VOX for an up close and personal experience to quench your anticipation for some of these popular cakes.
