- Pomegranate Molasses: Fnaydek, Akkar - Pomegranate molasses is a pretty simple ingredient that is taking the world by storm; all chefs today want to include it on their menu. One of the things I appreciate most about it is its lack of sweetness. Pomegranate molasses is syrupy and rich, but even versions with added sugar are not very sweet. Instead it's tangy and a little musky with a depth of flavor that makes it invaluable anywhere you want to add a little depth or complexity. Add it to your salad dressing, ice tea, brush your meat with it as a glazing, drizzle it over grilled vegetables or even try to add couple drops to your sorbet ice cream. - Grué de cacao: M de Noir, Kornet Chehwan - Cocoa nibs, are simply chocolate in its purest form. They are bits of fermented, dried, roasted and crushed cacao beans. They have a deep chocolate flavor which can be described as slightly bitter and nutty. They can be used as sprinkles on a cupcake, a chocolate fondant or an ice cream, they can be added to all kinds of dough, but also to salads, goat cheese canapés, foie gras… M de Noir, Maya Kanaan +96171223240

- Premium Quality Aniseed: Jdita, Bekaa - Aniseed is sweet and very aromatic, distinguished by its characteristic flavor. The seeds, whole or ground, are used for preparation of tea, as well as in a wide variety of regional and ethnic confectioneries. Aniseed is used to flavor Lebanese Arak. The Ancient Romans often served spiced cakes with aniseed called mustaceoe at the end of feasts as a digestive. This tradition of serving cake at the end of festivities is the basis for the tradition of serving cake at weddings. The seed is good against belchings and upbraidings of the stomach and helps stop diarrhea. A seasonal gift from Domaine des Tourelles. Arak Brun, Domaine des Tourelles, +9618540114
