I’m a fan of the brand, -not the clothing brand but- their restaurants and now added hotels to the list. Upscale, modern, generous, luxurious, and created to impress. It’s been a ritual to visit Armani’s restaurants every time I have the chance to of which Dubai, Istanbul, New York, Milano, and Paris. The Armani Caffe, Emporio Armani Caffe, and the restaurant. I was so happy to experience The Armani Hotel collection for the first time.
Excellent from start to end, from the minute your luggage is taken care of. The car was taken to the garage and charged 65€/day, grab the elevator onto the seventh floor and wait to be served. Internet is fast and free for all guests.
The room; a story of its own, a review worth pages. A technologically equipped room that you can run with your iPad: watch a movie, listen to music, open the curtains, set the air conditioning unit, among other features. The bathroom is as big as the room, a bathtub, toilet room, shower room, and a sink. I had the chance to have a balcony with a view of the city’s roofs. I was flying from joy.
What caught my attention is the mini bar; loaded with soft drinks and juices, everything is offered for free. Complimentary drinks refilled every day for your pleasure. Let’s talk about the Entertainment system, YouTube and channels you can watch on your television.
Waking up at eight, I head down to breakfast. Served in the main hotel restaurant on the seventh floor, enjoy breakfast with a view. I loved the restaurant decor since last night, the mirrors and yellow lit floor so imagine it at sunrise. Jazz playing in the background, a choice of many international choices from the buffet, American coffee and a choice of fresh preparations from the kitchen; let’s enjoy breakfast.
The salmon is amazingly delicious; what a quality! Smoked fish, a choice of cheeses, fresh fruits followed by fluffy pancakes and tasty eggs Benedict. The egg yolk is gooey and creamy, with a harder texture than average eggs; they feel heavier and richer.
Excellent location in the heart of the city: shop and drop your bags at the entrance, they will take care of taking them to your room.
Even though the hotel feels like a “men’s hotel” loaded with technologies more suitable for men and equipped with shampoo smelling manly, created with manly colors -as my wife noticed- I spent two nights that I enjoyed; I slept like a baby, enjoyed puffing a cigar on the balcony, took advantage of the bathroom, watched some movies, drank soft drinks from the minibar and promised myself to come again.
