When a place is called “Sugar”, prepare yourself to have a rush. Sugar and sweet things is what they do, with portions that are heavier and bigger than “The Cheesecake Factory”, the “Sugar Factory” promises a unique experience inspired by the streets of Beverly Hills. Sugar, desserts, sweets and unconventional food best enjoyed on Instagram; the plates are huge and colorful created to be instagramable. Let’s have lunch at “The Sugar Factory.”
It’s a huge and impressive place decorated with a hundred photos of celebrities eating sweet food, a big led screen, a candy shop and a seating area. Everything is grandiose, a high ceiling, a big screen, big silos of candies, crystal chandeliers, big-sized marble tiles and relaxing sofas. Black and white are the colors and the food ads the touch of rainbow fun.
A fun place makes you smile and feel happy. Positive vibes, a happy mood, bright colors and a varied menu of endless possibilities. Huge! Big portions!
The juice is more of a jar for eight persons; colorful juice jars made of colorful mixes your kids will love. The dry ice drinks make the kids want to come for them again.
Lunch starts with a basket of chips with their sauce and then the giant juices land on your table. Giant glasses, one pink and another white one, boiling from the inside and out in a fun way like nitrogen liquid.
Food is good! Instagramable and good heavy American diner food;
- Loved the crispy waffle with fried chicken on top seasoned with maple syrup. A hardcore crunch, juicy chicken and sweet maple juiciness without a single drop of oil.
- The mini colored burgers have a disgusting taste. Very heavy and extremely spiced close to inedible meat patty stuffed inside a colored bun. That’s a nice presentation but not the meat; yuky!
- A giant pan hosting a thick and giant pancake, a fluffy pancake covered with Nutella and decorated with bananas and marshmallows. Yummy!
- The red velvet cake: excellent! Super duper juicy extremely flavorful, intensely aromatic, not a single sugar crunch, adequately creamy and not heavy. Bravo!
A nice discovery: A fun place I enjoyed visiting! Give it a try, it’s unconventional and surely not a daily stopover but an interesting -every other month- experience.
