Located on the 2nd Floor of The Langham is the restaurant Travelle. Travelle has been known for its fine Mediterranean cuisine and innovative creations. Thanks to my friend Ronald who sent me the picture of this mouthwatering dessert which appeared in Zinio magazine publishing the "17 best new restaurants that thrilled Chicago critics most".

The Nutella Baklava dessert at Travelle restaurant in Chicago.
Delicate phyllo filled with Nutella ganache and chopped walnuts with a decoration of balsamic Pearls and Cocoa nib crisp. It simply looks majestic.
Baklava created but a non-middle eastern chef... how good do you think it is? Chef Scott Green is the man behind it: Chef Green has won several awards, including the gold medal at the 2011 National Pastry Team Championship and the Best Dégustation award; the Best Dégustation and Silver Medal overall at the 2012 World Pastry Championship in Las Vegas. He was also the recipient of the President’s List of Highest Academic Achievement at the Art Institute of California.
I've never been to Chicago and didn't taste this dessert yet but would love to hear your opinion about it. If you're passing by Chicago, now you know what not to miss. Any pastry chef in Lebanon wants to try creating it? Please let me know.
