I was invited to Slate and enjoyed a sumptuous meal. The tomato salad, the burger, the pastrami sandwich, beef tartare, meat and desserts were all phenomenal.
Le Commerce du Levant: Located in a street perpendicular to Armenia Street, Slate is a new bistro-grill, developed by two of the owners of Italian Tavolina, Dany Aprat and Dany Khairallah, as well as a new partner Marwan Badri and other investors . With an investment of about one million dollars, Slate has set up home a few steps from Tavolina on a surface of 400 m2 which can accommodate a hundred people seated between a room and a covered terrace. The grill focuses on a selection of meats including pieces of lamb and beef matured on site for up to four weeks. Count an average ticket of $ 45 per person.
Check the first pictures while I plan another visit for a detailed review.
