We reached Cyprus on the late MEA flight from Beirut to Larnaca and were eagerly awaited by some friends in Nicosia for dinner in a very nice restaurant recommended by the Hotel's receptionist.

Arriving at Sitio, we discovered an old typical Cypriot house transformed into a a restaurant. The place has a bar, different levels and an upper floor where the music in louder and guests continue they night dancing and having fun. The thing I liked the most about Sitio is the atmosphere: funky, relaxed with a gently dimmed lighting with a soft background music.

The service is pretty good and so is the food. That night we had some cocktail drinks, their famous triple layer burger, two salads of which the giant portobello mushroom, french fries, mozzarella sticks and a chicken dish. The overall experience was very positive, and the staff made it even better. I was not used to being so welcomed in Cyprus as the locals tend to be a bit aggressive and unwelcoming.

Since the place has an ideal location located on the 43rd of Makariou Ave, its a stop for many tourists and locals wanting to experience good food and have fun.
