To celebrate Christmas, Sesobel organizes a special exhibition to help people in need. This weekend, you can join the Sesobel’s active team at Le a Royal Hotel to support an organization that has been helping people in need for the last 30 years.
I headed down towards Dbayeh to get a closer look at the expo. Beautifully set in the colors of the festive season, Sesobel’s exhibition offers a large selection of homemade goods as well as Christmas decorative items, all made with love.
Ongoing until December 7, the exhibition is located on the ground level of the hotel and divided into many sections.
You will come across a number of heartwarming women who have volunteered with their time and creativity to help others. Housewives prepare their own tasty innovations and sell them at competitive prices and then donate the money to Sesobel.
Let’s take a closer look at the choices available at the exhibition… zaatar rolls, walnuts and jam biscuits, Alcazar tart, chocolate brownies, dates cake, Zaatar cake, homemade Irish cream, Ghraybeh bi Debes, Santa's cookies, oat and peanut butter cookies, homemade crepes, tea biscuits, carrot balls, butter biscuits, grilled Maacaron, Lawzieh and sfouf.
The gifts packs and special assortments of cookies and food – I chose one that includes sables, almonds, chocolate, coffee nuts, orange chocolate, cookies, five different jams and honey, croquant, caramel and almonds rocher.
Stop by the chocolate parlor include and find a big variety of flavors including
orange, dark, white, crispy, marron glacé, noir praline, bitter orange, white chocolate with rice crispy, caramel and croquant, oranges filed in chocolate, dark minted chocolate… There’s also a special selection for diabetic people.
Grab some biscuits and cookies mixed with almond, coffee and nuts, extra dark chocolate with salt, sables, Christmas cakes, brownies…
Walk around and find a wide selection of different items and brands including natural food, prepared without preservatives material by brand name "Ge", which means Phoenician goddess, symbol of Mother Earth, as well as items from different parts of Lebanon like Nouneh's homemade items from Kfarhouna, South of Lebanon.
You will also find a selection of Christmas decorations… as well as other home accessories including linen from Ya Hala.
