Rustic, as the name suggests, with old decor, lots of metal, ropes, wood and boxes in a small setup around an open kitchen and bar. Sitting at the bar, I enjoyed a special experience with the bartender taking the order and making sure brunch is enjoyed to the very last detail. I love the place, the vibes, the lighting and setup but unfortunately can't say the same about the owner who’s not very welcoming. He pushes you about until your name is called and makes sure you don’t use laptops inside his place dedicated to selling food and finally it’s clearly stated that the kitchen cannot change orders... you’ll have to adapt!

Breakfast is served all day, sides, sandwiches, market salads and platters are also served all day. The zaatar with labneh caught my attention, then there's brisket served all day, Nutella stuffed croissant, and the shakshuka; it seems the owner has Mediterranean origins or at least loves Lebanese zaatar.

I enjoyed the details; the napkins put on an old scale, the very open kitchen where you see everything, pulleys over the bar with lights suspended from them, the display fridge of pastries among others: the place feels good!

Good food is served here! Real zaatar on a spread of labneh; the side served with a basket of fresh bread. Not real Lebanese labneh, a bit more acidic closer to a thick yogurt but I like it anyway. The zaatar scone is excellent, very juicy, very soft, very flavorsome with moist eggs to stuff its heart. The brisket sandwich is interesting, over tender meat with avocado - potato is written on the menu but in fact it’s avocado slices and tomatoes.

Yogurt and granola: for the ones who like it this way, it’s a generous and flavorful bowl. I personally don’t like hard textured yogurt that feels like labneh. I’m also not a fan of raisins. Finish breakfast with the Nutella and banana croissant though - it's super flaky, lightly sweet and served with honey on the side while notes of peanut butter enhance the flavors.

An interesting place... a bit too crowded and noisy for me. The food is good, not exceptional. It was a nice experience to try.
