I haven’t been to Zaitounay bay for such a long time especially for lunch. Walking down and searching for a place to eat, I stopped at P.F.Chang’s, a brand I like. Being an accustomed client of the restaurant at City Centre Beirut, why not have a taste of P.F.Chang’s at the bay. Serving the same food, sushi, and Chinese specialties, I enjoyed the calm vibes on a Wednesday.
Wood, mirrors, Chinese paintings, wooden chairs, metallic grills, long glass facades, and a bar. Sit on the bench, open your chopsticks, unwrap your cutlery and enjoy the moment.
In a martini cup comes the legendary dragon shrimp; marinated juicy shrimp with a kick of spiciness and light sweetness. A plate many tried to imitate with no success. Addictive and must try; this creation makes me want to visit P.F.Chang’s again and again.
Spring rolls followed; crunchy on the outside and very juicy and moist on the inside. Shredded vegetables wrapped with love. Sushi on another hand has gotten smaller and became sticky. I remember them to be bigger, classier and tastier. This quality is lower than what I remember.
And the main plates arrived: delicious food! I love it here more than ever. Juicy shrimp, delicious rice with broccoli and vegetables, beautifully cooked noodles, peanuts, and mini shrimp. I enjoyed my lunch!
Good food, attentive service, fresh vibes; I will recommend this place to my friends craving American-Chinese food, sushi and walking down at the bay.
