After eating five pita sandwiches around the city, I needed a change! How about having a burger. Pax won the third price in the burger festival. American inspired place, industrial and colorful, I enjoyed the mood from the minute I walked in. Orange, blue, red and many English written quotes to attract tourists -non Greek-speaking. Dining English description is important since many restaurants don’t even care about tourists.
The cheeseburger with tomato jam, the pulled pork sandwich, and fries: let’s eat! The Berger deserves its third place in the burger festival for the juicy patty, the crisp vegetables, the sauce, and overall taste. If I had to change one thing, it’s the bread which needs to be softer, lighter and probably buttered and grilled. The pulled pork on another hand is a spot on! Excellently done, enjoyably sweet and stuffed with very tender pork.
