After reviewing the business lounge of "Hall L" at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, I had the chance to experience what "Hall K" of terminal E has to offer. I personally preferred this one. K Lounge oozes the same Air France spirit which is felt in all its Halls, with minor yet positive differences: It is old a needs serious attention hoping to hafve someting fresh like Hall M in the upcoming years.
I have already expressed my discomfort towards some issues in Hall L, especially the very long and tiring aspect of it, where moving from one end to another takes forever. As soon as you reach the welcoming desk, you will see that the K Lounge is divided into two separate halls, one on the left and another on the right. I chose to sit on the left side, where an upper floor is available for travelers seeking a calmer atmosphere.
The architectural details:
- The hall boasts three different types of floor covers - some parts are covered with ceramic, while other parts are covered with carpets and another part with wood parquet
- Camel and red sofas distributed around the middle area of square tables where quick meetings can be made
- Brown and red chairs, a signature touch in major lounges of Air France
- Private areas for relaxing are separated from the main hall with thick glass giving a feel of widened calm
- A corner for JAL first class travelers

- A luggage deposit corner
