Visiting Cairo for the first time, I was told about Nile City, a truly charming experience you do not want to miss. With four restaurants—Chili’s, Studio Masr, Carino’s, and Halket El Samak—it combines all of your favorite restaurants aboard one magnificent boat.
With its five different restaurants and amazing views of the Nile, the Nile City, located by the 6th of October Bridge on Zamalek, is a great place to visit for lunch or dinner. Chilli’s a well known international brand offering Tex Mex meals is one of the most frequented places on board, it offers indoor and outdoor seating, both with good views of the river. Johnny Carino’s is another restaurant onboard the moored Nile City, with wonderful Italian cuisine including pastas, pizzas, soups, and salads. If you enjoy classic Egyptian Cinema, which is the greatest in the Arab world, Studio Misr is also available on board, offering Mezze and Middle Eastern grills at reasonable prices while old movies are screened. There is also The Fish Market with a lovely terrace and a sundeck café which is has great views at sunset.
