Walking along ABC Mall in Achrafieh, a beautifully designed window display caught my eye. The window of the brand I fell in love with a couple of months ago, Nespresso, reveals three appealing new colors... Are they three new flavors? Knowing my need to satisfy every curiosity itch I get, I had to go in and have a look.

New flavors join the Nespresso family. Nespresso's famous Grand Crus variations, Ciocattino (Chocolate), Vanilio (Vanilla) and Caramelito (Caramel) are now part of the permanent brand to enjoy with no restriction. I looked at the salesperson and asked her to prepare one of each for me to taste. I have to tell you a secret: I didn't imagine myself falling in love deeper for this brand, and especially with those three flavors, which will definitely change the way you see and drink coffee... Your vision about coffee will be uplifted.
Vanilio - A balanced harmony between the rich and the velvety aromas of vanilla and the mellow flavor of the Livanto Grand Cru. A blend distinguished by its full flavor, infinitely smooth and silky on the palate.
Light and tender, a nice vanilla flavor caresses your palate without diminishing the real taste of mild coffee with a strength of 6 (On a scale from 1 to 10)
Ciocattino - Dark and bitter chocolate notes meet the caramelized roasted flavors of the Livanto Grand Cru. A rich combination reminiscent of a square of dark chocolate.
Just remember to stay close to the machine while this unique creation brews gently. A nice sharp color, a beautiful foam and a rich dark chocolate aroma flows along your nostrils with an experience that starts even before the first sip.
Caramelito - The sweet flavor of caramel softens the roasted notes of the Livanto Grand Cru. This delicate gourmet marriage evokes the creaminess of soft toffee.
My favorite! What an awesome invention. The same Nespresso premium coffee with an added flavor of caramel adding some gentle sweetness to your cup and dissipating rich aromas of caramel that will blow your mind away. Here, your five senses are activated in a split of a second making you smile of joy.
The Caramelito is a sin! How nice and creative. The same foam, the same richness, the same color and the same strength adding to that a hint of sweetness, which will illuminate any potential bitterness an espresso can have.
Looking around, I couldn't but take a lot of pictures here and there. The colors that decorate the interior of this boutique is something worth mentioning... I then decided to buy some capsules to last me a month - yes they are that good and I don't want to risk not finding them later... no one knows what might happen... So I bought 8 tubes - that's 80 capsules- and went back home to fill my wall display.
My recommendation:
- Use the transparent Nespresso cups and enjoy the different layers of colors created while brewing
- Use the big cup making the mix feel lighter and the quantity bigger for a enhanced enjoyment
- Add half a brown sugar sachet to it boosting the sweet flavors
- Sit back, close your eyes and enjoy
Now I can have two cups a day for a month or so - below my home wall display... Happy me!
