Spending four days in Istanbul, and eating almost every cuisine until now, the last dinner must be special, so why not try MUST! MUST, which is the new address in Istanbul for special food and good music, brings inspiration from the Nişantaşı's “neighborhood” culture to a pleasant ambiance.
The botanical garden in the lobby, the lounge bar, and the fine-dining sections of the restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy international cuisine in a pleasant and classy ambiance.
MUST! I’m not sure why the name but I like it. We chose to sit outside: on the terrace, bright yellow lights from the street and music coming from the restaurant. Inside is another ambiance, dimmed, and upscale.
The menu is worth talking about. Pees, salmon, bowls, pasta, pizza, and mains. A meli-melo of ideas to please everyone from vegan to meat lover. I need something new and innovative and "MUST" satisfied my demands. With all that luxury, it’s sad -like all restaurants in Istanbul- to have a service that’s not up to standard; I’m not sure what is it with waiters but none smiles or welcomes warmly.
Oops! Plates from Ikea?! I expected better from MUST when plates have an average price of 70 Liras each. One can’t buy a big bottle of sparkling water: because small ones generate more money for the restaurant; that’s not good!
Breadbasket and cream, three kinds of delicious bread that look homemade. Onions focaccia, brioche, and chewy boule de pain.
Super-duper tasty! An excellent burger, two of them mini burgers made with a black colored bun, tender and lightly toasted with a premium quality gourmet beef patty. It’s so yum! It has an addictive touch to it. It is unique! Top-quality cheddar, juicy beef, and premium bun.
The pees, a cream looking like hummus is a vegan mix of pees, artichoke, dill, and crispy bread. Different, sweet and tasty.
Light is bad, dark and yellow (obvious on the pictures) but the restaurant serves complicated, yet good food!
