It's 11am and I'm at Lobster Me to try their Lobster Roll. I was excited to try San Francisco's lobster roll and compare it to the ones I have tried in London and Lebanon.

Buttered and toasted bread, fries and coleslaw for $23.

Let's start with the potatoes, unusually cut and crispy fries with an enjoyable salty cover, while the coleslaw is soaked with mayonnaise ... and now for the sandwich. The bread is chewy and not toasted enough and surely not buttered enough. The lobster is a bit gooey; I think they use the frozen kind. There's a lot of sauce, too much in fact and that spoils the experience. Too much chives in the sandwich which makes it too salty.

Proudly, the one I usually have at Brgr. Co in Lebanon is a hundred times better.

The lobster should be firmer, use less sauce, butter the bun and toast it less because the button is harder than a piece of biscuit. Probably learn from Burger & Lobster.

PS: Do not order a draft Diet Pepsi. A very strong and unpleasant taste of metal or detergent.
