One of the tastiest seafood and fish experiences I've had in Lebanon is located in the heart of Achrafieh! Great value for money, fresh food, nicely presented plates... I had a blast!
Eggplant, the sexiest eggplant I’ve had, served warm, a whole eggplant is roasted and peeled, served with a mustard and olive oil sauce. I loved it! In fact, I adored it!
Fresh crab, purslane and cherry tomatoes. Lemon and oil on the side and enjoy. So simple, so yummy and so fresh.
The shrimp tabbouleh is wow! Eat it with cabbage, fill it with parsley and tomatoes topped with half cut shrimp. I loved the shrimp, I adored the lemon sauce and the fresh vegetables used.
Ink calamari cooked to perfection cooked in their sauce. So tender, the calamari melt under the teeth leaving a fresh explosion of acidity.
I’m impressed by the food! Impressed by the quality of fish, the balanced flavors, and his awesome plate of fish Bizri. Addictive micro-sized fish bizri fried to perfection, salted and ready to be enjoyed. Squeeze some lemon on to and dig in... I loved the fish quality, the crispy borders, and he moist heart. “Samar Bizri” rarely find around town.
Have you ever tried octopus Provençal without garlic: they do exist if you ask for them. I’m not sure how they do it... the food here is “out-of-this-world”!
Imagine a fish sandwich that’s loaded with fresh tender fish; yes, loaded! Probably half a kilo of fish stuffed in a sandwich. Juicy fish with only lemon and olive oil. When no sauce is needed, when no pickles are added, when the bread is not felt and not chewy... this is an amazing sandwich I finished completely.
Siyadiyeh, as good as all the rest, brown rice cooked al-dente, a moist heart, no sauce needed, after notes of cooking, fish flavors and juicy fish on top. I adored crunching into the fried almonds with every bite.
Best for last: you can’t come here without enjoying the lobster! Yes, one whole lobster, cooked to perfection and cut in half.
I was out of words: the food is outstanding. Affordable fish served in the heart of the capital without having to pay for a fortune or travel to Tripoli for it. Everything was fantastic from the minute I arrived until the second I left. A fish experience I would recommend to all my friends.
