My teeth cut into the thin crust while the tomato sauce explodes under the palate. A unique pizza, very thin crust, crunchy and soft at the same time, and topped with a load of cheese, ham, and mushrooms. It’s thin but not soggy, not watery but firm. It’s incredibly flavorful, acidic, zesty and intense. One of this country best can be found at Nonina.
Nonina is Monot Street’s pizzeria which took the place of Nonna. Pizza romana, spaghetti, Italian starters, and refreshing salads. The food at Nonina is surprisingly delicious.
Melanzane: half an eggplant loaded with cheese, cherry tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Crunchy balls of cheese coated with corn flakes and served on a bed of spicy tomato sauce. Yummy!
Very good food! Surprisingly very good food served in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Who said Italian eateries should be upscale?
Truffle pizza, fritto misto, chicken salad... I loved my meal!
