You won’t imagine enjoying something as great in a place as small! You feel at home, a tiny little shop that serves Pasta, only fresh Pasta. The owner doesn’t speak English, but listens to American music enjoying her time between hundreds of tomato cans and a fridge of fresh Pasta; google led me here, one of the highest rated restaurants on the platform in this magical city of love. I felt good the moment the door opened.
More of a shop, the place sells Pasta, biscuits and the seasonal carnival signature dessert. Sylvia screams, works with fun, shouts, and answers the phone with excitement, the Italian way. Plastic forks, plastic cups and carton plates, order from a dozen choices, serve yourself and be seated to enjoy them. This small eatery has two high tables with half a dozen chairs where guests share a meal.
Tagliatelle ragoût meat made of fresh pasta. Intensely flavorful and acidic pasta with a load of meat. Feels like Italian Home food. The tortellini are made of flat sheets of Pasta embracing several choices of Italian mixes. Meat, potato, burrata, artichoke, pumpkin, aged cheese among others. They’re amazing! Each one of them is an experience of its own. The tartuffo is outstanding.
Oh how much I love lasagna, and this one feels like home. Layers of tender pasta interlacing a sauce of minced meat and tomato sauce. I finished three loaded plates and then attacked the truffle gnocchi.
A nice experience indeed!
