Kahwet el Mandaloun: Lunch with a View

Not my first time here, and certainly not my last: Kahwet el Mandaloun is an upscale traditional Lebanese cafe serving a selection of authentic local specialities revisited with simplicity, class and finesse. It's about the mood, the vibes, the quality of people, the service and then the crowning glory - the food. Having lunch with a view onto the port of Dbayeh, coming here puts me in a good mood despite the high prices, which I believe are unjustifiable: orange juice for LBP11,000; kaaka for LBP13,750 and a shawarma for LBP19,750! I'm a fan of Al Mandaloun's concepts but I think the prices have become way too high... I'll keep a close eye on this.
