You're looking for something easy to make and enjoy with a nice glass of wine? Joanna's Table gives us a recipe to her Pasta with Fresh Tomatoes. Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced or sliced garlic cloves,
- 2 cups sliced white onion
- 5 cups chopped tomatoes (about 2 pounds)
- 1/3 cup chopped dried oregano
- 1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pack spaghetti cooked El Dente
Preparation
- Heat olive oil in a large pan
- Add minced garlic & sliced onion; sauteé 30 seconds or until it become transparent.
- Add chopped tomatoes and the dried oregano
- Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Add pasta salt, and pepper, tossing gently to combine
