Believe me; I’ve been to breakfasts! Some are charming, romantic and calm. Others are luxurious with a fine-dining style. I’ve experienced endless choices where the buffet serves cooked chicken, sushi and meat. All combined, the Radisson’s takes the best of all worlds into a breakfast few hotels could achieve. It’s not the quality of food or even the display; it’s the artistic approach only a dreamer would think of. Served at Al Boustan, the hotel’s restaurant, breakfast at The Radisson Blu Kuwait is an experience to learn from.
I’ve been here in 2016 and still remember to date every detail that made me want to book at the same hotel again. Served in an open kitchen, every corner is utilized to take you on a journey to your mum’s kitchen and back. Discover food displayed in artistic ways like an artist will set his tools preparing to carve his sculpture in wood.
In this open kitchen, a chef prepares your eggs, walking around and making sure all plates are filled to the top. Several tables, islands, colors... experiences!
Arrive at breakfast and be welcomed by a refreshing drink. Create your own Virgin Mary, have a bit of honey and start walking around the kitchen. Labneh and cheeses, salmon and chicken, fresh vegetables and hot food. Tasty food, beautifully presented making you want to fill a dozen plates.
Metal baskets, wooden boards, green trees, a bicycle, an open oven, ceramic bowls, colorful pots; is it a garden, a kitchen, or a place of positivity and happiness? Accompanied by soft musical jazz tunes, I sat, relaxed and appreciated the moment.
I took more than a hundred photos not knowing where to start and where to end. Every time I walked around he buffet, more photo opportunities popped up in front of me. Muffins, croissants, donuts, fruits, dates, cakes, waffles, pancakes and the list goes on and on.
A great experience I’ll learn from and recommend to all my friends visiting Kuwait. Two thumbs up for the manager behind this great achievement.
