For the First Time Souk El Akel Crosses Borders: Egypt Here We Come

We are so excited to share this super tasty news with all of you. For the first time, Souk El Akel will be crossing borders. Beirut's popular street food event is travelling to North Africa's land of the Pyramids. Yep, you heard right... in fact this is the first time that street food market travels to another country. A one of a kind event, Souk El Akel, Egypt Edition will be taking place in Porto Marina Complex at el Alameen, located on the North Coast, three and half hours away from Cairo.

Over 120 people from Lebanon will be going from here to set up 30 various food stands. Egypt will finally witness Lebanon’s vibrant culinary know how including Lebanese, Middle Eastern and International bites, as well as get up close and personal with innovative bites never seen or tasted before.

By now, we know that Souk el Akel in Beirut is more than just a meeting point for food and fun; but a place where people come to have fun, forget all their worries ... It's time to start sharing it with the world. Tell your friends, come many, share the joy, break barriers, taste new things and reminisce on familiar ones...
