It started as a delivery review and now I order from Em Georges every other week when I feel like eating healthy homemade preparations. With guaranteed satisfaction every time you feel hungry, Em Georges is about the flavors of your home when you're away from home.
I'm in love with this salad... quinoa tabbouleh that's probably 80% made of quinoa, richly loaded and extremely flavorful. This is the second time I order this salad which leaves me speechless one bite after another. Real quinoa - considering I'm not a fan even I loved it - enjoyably lemony, tender bits, parsley cut in small bits and diced tomatoes.
With that I enjoyed a plate of grilled vegetables. Cauliflower, potatoes, zucchini and eggplant. So tender and juicy, not dried out and with overpowering flavor like if they were fried. A healthy meal I recommend. They're super good.
Now for the rice, that awesome "riz 3a Djeij". Super tender rice embraced with a robe of light oil mixed together with grilled almonds and pine nuts. The meat adds more flavor, it's very small minced meat that travels around your mouth not sticking and not sliding under your teeth. I so loved it, the quality of rice perfectly cooked, the tenderness and juiciness of chicken, its fresh aroma and unique flavor. I was not writing a review today, I was enjoying a decent meal and couldn't stop smiling and talking out loud about the feelings this dish activated.
Grilled chicken, as simple as it can be, juicy and tender, aromatic and flavorful, a plate served with zucchini, potatoes, carrots and cauliflower.
After lunch was dessert time: mmmm... the chocolate biscuit cake is so good! I can't stand the butter and sweetness in such cakes but Em George's feels light, doesn't taste like butter, is not sweet and offers the real taste of intense chocolate. Bravo!
