The internet led us to Seoul's best cake. “You Are My Precious” the cake with many colors is in fact quite simple. Layers of colors but a unique, rich, memorable flavor.
Doré Doré is located in a street called Sinsa-dong, next to many dessert parlors, restaurants and cafes offering cakes and tarts. Three stories where a light music plays, trendy and classy furniture and those cakes alongside the famous rainbow bagel.
So yum! A moist multilayered cake filled with fresh cream and strawberry slices. A huge cake for $8, and great for sharing. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. Well textured fresh cream layered between the spongy and airy thick cake slices.
The banana cake is as good: Moist and spongy cake, three layers of it with lots of cream stuffed in between. Inside are whole bananas, yes bananas left as that need a knife to cut - I like the idea. Honestly, in the capitals of sweets, in New York or Paris, I've rarely had something as good.
