Lunch with my mum, I chose DIVVY; there’s something for her, something for me in a calm and upscale setup that’s not childish, fresh, and positively vibrant. After my last experience at DIVVY Dbayeh and the great food I enjoyed, why not choose a guaranteed place to have a good lunch.
I’ve been here, done that, and still, visit every now and then. I enjoy DIVVY’s decor, choice of music, open glass facades, air quality and choice of food creations. Have a salmon poke with a thick bed of rice floating on cabbage soy sauce and decorated with a handful of colorful add-ons. Have a bite with ginger, another with carrots, try it with cucumbers without forgetting the heart of diced salmon.
Dynamite shrimp, as good as you expect them to be, a crunch and a juicy heart. Round shaped Nachos topped with individual bites of chicken covered with a robe of cheddar cheese. Order the Mongolian beef, you won’t regret it. It feels like a hot version of the poke, same bowl and same quality of rice topped with marinated tender beef mixed with sesame.
The only thing I don’t approve at all is the bread, stale bread of that steak sandwich; it looks bad before even biting into it. Microwaved, heated on the salamander, crumpled: it’s close to disgusting. The sandwich doesn’t have enough filling anyway.
Order the schnitzel, battered and fried beef with a side of fries. I enjoyed the beef tenderness, crunchy batter and fresh fries. At DIVVY, you have different shapes of fries depending on the plate.
Desserts: exceptional desserts! Salted caramel Pain perdu served in a porcelain bowl made with bread cubes floating in a warm sauce. A balanced sweetness, milky cubes, adequately cooked, not chewy and not crunchy. A side of ice-cream from OrsoBianco crowns this dessert.
Nutella fondant! Wow! This dessert is awesome!!!!!! A must try!
Professional service, good food, and porticoes vibes; DIVVY has it all.
