Yes, I'm back to Crepaway and this time, to try their newly launched items during the month of fasting. Items include a salad, a quinoa burger and a club sandwich - the same great taste in an innovative manner yet keeping those who are fasting in mind. To tell you the truth I was a bit hesitant to try both the quinoa burger and the seafood club sandwich, but to my happy surprise, they both turned out to be delicious.
The Club Sandwich: Here's amouthwatering, richly filled sandwich that will fulfill your senses before you even start. A layer of thin bread overlaying soft avocado, crab sticks, fresh lemon as well as salmon and crunching rocket leaves. Simply yummy. A strong taste of lemon bursts into action while the joint-venture of crab and lemon will add the fresh taste of a sandwich that's more of simple diner food. Close your eyes to feel more ingredients; thin sliced cucumbers, sesame seeds and light cream cheese. This is a unique sandwich indeed. Just when you think the experience is over, a pleasant after taste of lemon zest caresses your palatal buds.
Quinoa Burger: I didn't expect to like this burger but I did. I actually loved it... A burger without meat, yet with the same feel and taste of a normal burger. Spicy ketchup on top, mayo on the bottom and in between is a fried quinoa patty, sweet pickles and crunching fresh iceberg, without forgetting the premium Crepaway bun that blends perfectly well with the mix. Be prepared to experience some rich spices and even garlic powder that pass subtly. If you're a vegetarian, then this is definitely.
Baked Salmon Salad: I've never eaten salmon prepared this way before except at home. Premium quality salmon smoked and cooked in the oven and served with fresh Roma lettuce, rockets, carrots and cherry tomatoes. Covering the whole mix are deliciously thick Parmesan crisps. Add to that the Caesar dressing and you're set for a delicious salad.
There was really no place for dessert anymore. It was an enjoyable lunch.
