After having a very bad breakfast at Johnny Rockets, I walked a hundred meters from the hotel where a typical American diner opens al day long. Coco’s serves breakfast lunch and dinner. Pancakes, eggs, sausages, and bacon with a selection of homemade pies for dessert. The place feels good, calm and traditional the way you see it in movies.

Sofas, an open kitchen, a bar, a display fridge, ketchup and maple syrup to decorate the tables... let’s have breakfast in America.

Cinnamon rolls, three of them with bacon and eggs have nothing to write home about. The pancakes are too chewy and sticky. The pecan pie is not bad at all, but too sweet for me. The puff pastry apricot pie in interesting.

My verdict is that food is good enough for someone who’s really drunk and hungry, not for someone who’s searching to enjoy the good quality of food. A 4,1/5 rating on google maps is not deserved.
