There’s a burger shop in Tripoli and it’s called Burger Square. One door shop, no music, simple decor, and an open kitchen, the fast-casual eatery sells a selection of burgers, hotdogs, wings, sandwiches and appetizers alongside salads and crepes.
There is no parking; deliver or park on the main road and take a walk.
Spinney’s bags, jackets, earphones, a dirty grill... not the first impression I expected.
Order at the cashier and wait to be served. No music, the vibes are so negative and heavy. You don’t even hear to sound of grilling meat! Prepared in a metal grill, the patty is taken out of the freezer and slowly heated on that non-contact grill with no stainless surface.
A chef, -the person who cooks- wears one glove while grabbing the food with his bare hand. No apron but a professional hairnet; that’s a good point.
Good quality sandwiches are served here! Good quality, balanced and tasty burgers. Sofi de France buns, a juicy patty, juicy tomatoes, crisp lettuce and the needed amount of sauce to make this burger enjoyable. I’ve had two of them, enjoyed their aromas, a load of cheddar cheese and roasting. That grill seems to be a great idea. I enjoyed the food with great value for money.
The guys are doing a good job; I'm sure things will be fine-tuned for a better experience. Give Burger Square a try supporting young entrepreneurs.
